Who is responsible
andyism is responsible for deciding how personal information is used in connection with this website and its services. The full legal name and business address must be added here before public launch. Privacy enquiries can be sent to [email protected].
Information you choose to provide
If you make an enquiry or become a client, the information handled may include your name, email address, project requirements, budget, timescale, correspondence, invoices and the access details needed to deliver agreed work.
Please do not send passwords, private keys, recovery codes or API secrets through the enquiry form or ordinary email. A safer transfer method should be agreed if sensitive access is genuinely required.
How the enquiry form works
The current form does not send information to a website database. After validation, it prepares a message in your device’s default email application. Nothing is sent until you review and send that email. Your email provider and the receiving provider will then process the message under their own terms.
Technical information
The site does not currently include analytics, advertising trackers or marketing cookies. The hosting provider may still create short-lived security and access logs containing information such as an IP address, browser type, requested page, time and referral source. The final host and its retention policy should be documented here before launch.
Why information is used
Information may be used to:
- respond to enquiries and prepare a requested quote;
- plan, deliver, support and document agreed services;
- protect accounts, systems, clients and the website from misuse;
- keep financial and business records required by law; and
- establish, exercise or defend legal claims where necessary.
The applicable UK GDPR basis will normally depend on the situation—for example, taking steps at your request before a contract, performing a contract, complying with a legal obligation or pursuing a legitimate business interest.
Who information may be shared with
Information should only be shared where needed with service providers involved in hosting, email, secure credential transfer, billing or delivery; professional advisers; or public authorities when legally required. Personal information is not sold.
International processing
Some service providers may process information outside the UK. The provider, destination and relevant safeguard should be checked and recorded before that service is used for client information.
Retention and security
Information should be kept only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the enquiry, project, support, financial records and any legal obligations. A practical retention schedule must be agreed before launch. Reasonable controls should include limited access, multi-factor authentication, secure credential transfer, updates and backups appropriate to the risk.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase or restrict the use of your personal information; object to some processing; or receive a portable copy. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. Some rights have legal exceptions.
