Who is responsible
andyism is the name used for this pre-launch portfolio and interest-testing website. Privacy enquiries and rights requests can be sent to [email protected]. The website does not currently accept bookings, enter service agreements or take payments. Required provider and correspondence information will be added before any commercial service is opened.
Information you choose to provide
If you register interest, the information handled may include your name, email address, possible requirement, budget, timescale, campaign or referral tags attached to the link you used and later correspondence.
Please do not send passwords, private keys, recovery codes or API secrets through the enquiry form or ordinary email. A safer transfer method should be agreed if sensitive access is genuinely required.
How the enquiry form works
When you submit the form, a Cloudflare Pages Function validates the fields and a short-lived Cloudflare Turnstile security token. Resend then emails the enquiry to andyism and sends a confirmation containing the details you submitted to your email address. The function does not write your enquiry to a website database.
If the protected form is unavailable, the page may instead offer to prepare a message in your device’s email application. Nothing is sent through that fallback until you choose to send it.
Technical information
The site does not include advertising trackers, behavioural analytics or marketing cookies. Standard web requests let Cloudflare process security and access information such as an IP address, browser type, requested page, time and referral source. Turnstile also uses browser and device signals to distinguish people from automated abuse. The form records ordinary UTM campaign labels and the referring page, when supplied with the link, so an enquiry can be attributed to a campaign without storing an advertising cookie.
Why information is used
Information may be used to:
- respond to expressions of interest and understand possible demand;
- plan which service areas may be useful to launch;
- protect accounts, systems, clients and the website from misuse;
- meet any record-keeping obligation required by law; and
- establish, exercise or defend legal claims where necessary.
The usual UK GDPR basis for the pre-launch form is the legitimate interest in understanding demand and responding to a message someone has chosen to send. Consent is used where it is specifically requested. Legal obligations may also require limited information to be retained or disclosed.
Who information may be shared with
Information is shared only where needed with providers involved in website hosting and form security (Cloudflare), transactional email delivery (Resend), email storage (Zoho Mail), secure credential transfer, billing or project delivery; professional advisers; or public authorities when legally required. The confirmation is also processed by the email provider you use. Personal information is not sold and an enquiry is not added to a marketing list.
International processing
Cloudflare, Resend, Zoho and future project providers may process information in the UK, European Economic Area or other locations. Resend should be configured to send from its EU region. Where information is transferred internationally, the relevant provider terms and legally recognised safeguards apply.
Retention and security
Expressions of interest are normally kept in the andyism mailbox for up to 12 months after the last contact, then removed unless the conversation continues or a legal reason requires retention. Resend’s current free service keeps email logs for 30 days. Do not submit credentials, passwords, API keys or recovery codes. Information is removed sooner where it is no longer needed.
Reasonable controls include limited access, multi-factor authentication, encrypted provider secrets, spam validation, secure credential transfer, updates and backups appropriate to the risk.
Enquiries from people under 18
The form does not ask for a date of birth. A person under 18 should submit an expression of interest only with approval from a parent or legal guardian. No service agreement or payment is available through the pre-launch form. If information was submitted without appropriate involvement, email [email protected] so it can be reviewed or removed where appropriate.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase or restrict the use of your personal information; object to some processing; or receive a portable copy. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. Some rights have legal exceptions.
